The Green Lamp Project: A Hands-On Lab for Impact Innovation?
Project Note: The post was written with the sense of hope and purpose: God exists in spirit. He puts a part of this spirit as soul in everybody and sends them to the earth. Man is expected to enjoy nature and participate in its further development on behalf of god. For this, he is enjoyed to perform duties earmarked for him. Purpose of life and peace of mind are both achievable through raising level of inner consciousness for which faith is ultimate recipe.
Result? Thought of doing something – zeroed with the idea of making lamp.
We embarked on a journey to create something meaningful and impactful, which led to the idea of developing a hand-operated machine for manufacturing cow-dung-based Diyas.
However, a critical question arose: “Who will bring this vision to life?” The Central Training and Tool Room teams stepped forward, lending their expertise to transform this concept into reality.
Guided by the interplay of scientific relevance and Vedic wisdom, we explored the aesthetic dimensions of the Diya. These insights paved the way for a technical draft, translating the rough sketch into a blueprint with precise dimensions for the machine.
The prototype began to take shape, and after rigorous self-testing, it was ready for demonstration. The machine proved successful, marking a significant milestone in this impactful endeavor.
Look and feel: “More than just an Eco-friendly Lamp,” our eco-friendly Diya, the aesthetical dimension of which embodies a harmonious blend of scientific relevance and Vedic wisdom, transcending its role as a mere lamp. Inspired by the sacred number 108, often found in rudraksha malas, we recognize its profound significance in human, earthly, and celestial contexts. The Diya’s design also incorporates the golden ratio, or divine ratio, a mathematical concept intricately woven into Hindu art, architecture, and spirituality. This deliberate design choice infuses the Diya with a deeper spiritual essence, making it an instrument of illumination, balance, and harmony. We hope that our Impact Innovation will have a lasting impact, inspiring positive change and promoting sustainability. With faith guiding our endeavors, we strive for excellence and the betterment of our world
The Impact Innovation shall payoff: We hope that our Impact Innovation will have a lasting impact, inspiring positive change and promoting sustainability. With faith guiding our endeavors, we strive for excellence and the betterment of our world.
Of course, the idea we present here is beyond experiment . Nevertheless, we feel it deserves to be explored. The issue of air pollution is truly global concern and demands innovative solutions.
We ask CEOs, Governments, NGOs, Foundations: Are there any takers?
