“Redefining the manure of holy cow for illuminating Eco-friendly Lamp.”

The Green Lamp Project first conceived with the idea of making something meaningful and impactful; and we zeroed with the idea of Eco-friendly Lamp.

“Creating something meaningful and impactful is at the heart of the Project”

The project was followed by five simple questions

1. Waste to Resource:

How can organic waste, specifically cow dung manure, be transformed into eco-friendly Diya?

2. Design and Innovation:

What might a Diya-from-waste manure look like, and how can it be designed for optimal functionality and aesthetics?

3. Engineering and Design:

How can world-class engineering and design capabilities be leveraged to solve the problem of converting waste into a valuable resource?

4. Impact Innovation and Motivation:

What impact innovation lessons might be learned by the participants in such a project, and how can these lessons be applied to other sustainable initiatives?

5. Sustainability and Income Generation:

How this initiative could afford to support an additional income source for rural communities, while promoting sustainable practices and reducing environmental pollution?

The Green Lamp Project embodies the spirit of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India) by leveraging local resources, empowering rural communities, and promoting sustainable practices. By utilizing cow dung manure, the project reduces waste, creates employment opportunities, and fosters innovation, ultimately contributing to a self-sufficient and eco-friendly India.
